What is Switchover?
Short answer: Switchover is a service by Dennis Yates, a sole trader in Anna Bay NSW, Australia (ABN 52 137 373 213). It sells one product, the Switch Plan: a fixed-price written plan for moving your business email off Gmail's "Send mail as" for third-party (non-Google) addresses, which Google says ends in January 2027 (no exact day announced). You make every change yourself, following the plan.
Who it's for
- Sole traders and small businesses who read and reply to their business address (like info@yourbusiness.com) or an internet-provider address from inside free Gmail using "Send mail as" or "Check mail from other accounts".
- People who'd like a written, step-by-step plan for their own setup rather than a general guide.
Not for: Google Workspace accounts and their aliases, or other Gmail addresses you own (Google says those aren't affected). Customers in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland or India (not currently available there).

What the Switch Plan includes
- A written plan for your exact setup, not a generic guide.
- A check of your domain's public email records (no logins needed).
- One clear recommendation, including the free options, with the running cost.
- Step-by-step instructions for your registrar and new provider, with the records ready to copy and paste.
- Setup steps for your phone and computer, plus a "test before you switch" checklist.
- One round of email questions.
It doesn't include moving old mail across; that stays in your Gmail as an archive. There are no calls, screen-share sessions or access to your accounts.
Price
A$49 incl. GST in Australia; US$35 elsewhere. Payments are processed by Stripe; Dennis Yates is the seller. Your new email provider, if you need one, is in your name and billed to you directly. Often it costs nothing. Switchover doesn't resell email or take commissions from email providers.
Refunds: if your plan isn't right for your setup, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we'll fix it, or refund you in full if we can't. See the Refund policy and Service Terms. These are in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
